Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use MentionGrid, run by MentionGrid. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use it for an agency or company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.

What the service does

MentionGrid asks AI engines (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude) the questions you choose, records their answers, and reports how often your clients' brands and competitors appear. You get dashboards, branded PDF reports, a client portal, emailed reports, a data feed and an API.

Results come from the engines' APIs with web search and approximate what people see in the engines' own apps. AI answers vary and can be wrong. We do not promise any ranking, traffic or business result, and nothing here is professional advice.

Your account

You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. Keep your password, API keys, data-feed links and portal links secret: anyone who has one can access what it covers. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the teammates you invite. Tell us quickly if you think someone has gained access.

Your clients and your content

Only add brands you are allowed to track, and only add client contacts who expect to receive your reports. You own the content you add and the results we collect for your brands. You let us store, process and display them, and send prompts to AI providers, as needed to run the service. Reports and the portal show your name, logo and colours, and you are responsible for how you present the results to your clients.

Plans, credits and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions renew every month until you cancel. One credit is one AI engine answer. Your credits reset when your plan renews and do not roll over; top-up credits expire at the next reset. If a check fails after retries, the credit is returned to you automatically. Our payment provider handles payment and any sales tax or VAT, and we never see your card number.

You can cancel any time from Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund a period that has started, except where the law requires it or we made a mistake, such as a double charge. For anything wrong with a charge, email support@mentiongrid.app. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before raising the price of your plan.

Fair use

Please do not: break the law; try to get into other customers' data; probe, overload or bypass the limits of the service; share your credentials; create several trial accounts to avoid paying; or resell the service or raw AI answers (using the results in your own client reports is fine). We may limit or suspend an account that does, and we will usually tell you why first. If you find a security problem, tell us at support@mentiongrid.app.

Your data

You can export your data and delete your account in Settings. Deleting removes your data from our systems as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, for non-payment, or if the law requires it.

Limits

We work to keep the service running well, but it is provided "as is" and may have interruptions, and we depend on AI providers and other services we do not control. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits anything the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service. For changes that matter we will email you or tell you in the app at least 30 days ahead. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the update.
