What the numbers mean

Mention rate

The share of AI answers that name your brand. If 3 of 10 answers mention it, the mention rate is 30%. Each question is asked several times on each engine and every answer counts.

Share of voice

Your mentions divided by your mentions plus your tracked competitors' mentions. It shows how much of the conversation you own.

Citation share

How often the sources the AI quotes are your own website, out of all citations.

Average position

Where you appear among the brands named in an answer (1 means named first). Only answers that mention you count.

Unstable

Answers differ between runs. Treat these questions as 'sometimes' rather than 'always'.

Where to get listed

Sources the AI cited in answers that left you out, ranked. Getting mentioned on those sites is the quickest way to start appearing.

Brands AI recommends instead

Names that keep appearing in answers but are not tracked. Press Track to add one as a competitor.

Questions

Why is a brand at 0%?

Small or new brands often are not recommended yet. That is the baseline: the report shows who is recommended instead and which sources the AI relies on, which is exactly what to work on.

Why do the numbers differ from what I see in ChatGPT or Gemini?

We use each engine's API with web search, not its consumer app. The method is identical every week, so trends and comparisons are reliable even when single answers differ.

What is a credit?

One credit equals one AI engine answer. Each question is run 3 times on each engine, so a question checked on four engines uses 12 credits per week. Failed answers are refunded automatically.

How often does it update?

Active brands run every Monday. You can also press Run now at any time; checks already done this week are not repeated or charged twice.

How do I send a report to my client?

Open the brand, press Generate PDF to download it, or create a client portal link. On paid plans you can also add client emails and switch on automatic weekly emails sent under your agency name.

Can I hide parts of the report?

Yes. Open Report on the brand page to switch sections on or off, add a note from you, write your own recommendations and set a goal.

What are timeline notes?

Short notes about what you did and when. They appear as markers on the trend chart and in the report so clients see what moved the numbers.
